Lavan Legal is a proud sponsor and supporter of The Western Force.  We were the solicitors for the Force's winning bid and we are proud to continue advising Rugby WA.  John Mitchell, the head coach of Western Force, is a regular visitor to Lavan Legal's offices and addressed the entire firm on the meaning of team building at the launch of Lavan Legal.

The Starlight Children's Foundation
Lavan Legal has had a long and proud association with this charity - one of Perth's most recognisable organisations. The lead partner of our Property Services Group, Peter Beekink, is chairman of Starlight in WA and has been a member of the national executive for many years. 

WA Opera Company
Lavan Legal has a long association with the WA Opera Company.  We are proud to support an organisation that makes such an outstanding contribution to cultural life in Western Australia.  In 2008, Lavan Legal was the season sponsor for the WA Opera Company's production of the Barber of Seville.

Fogarty Foundation
Lavan Legal partner Bettina Mangan is one of the founding trustees of the Fogarty Foundation established in 2000 by Brett and Annie Fogarty. The Fogarty Foundation encourages young people to aim for excellence and supports them in their endeavours to achieve their potential.  By funding programmes that promote knowledge and ideas, the Foundation creates opportunities for young people to achieve their goals.

Rottnest Channel Swim Association
The Cottesloe to Rottnest Island 20km open water swim is a test of endurance.  A well known event within the community, it attracts more interstate and international competitors each year.  Lavan Legal are the solicitors to the Association as well as sponsors of the Lavan Legal Corporate Challenge, where corporate swimming teams compete against each other.  Many Lavan Legal partners and staff participate in the swim each year.

Surf Life Saving
Lavan Legal is a proud sponsor of Surf Life Saving WA.  We recognise the volunteers who make up this organisation as true leaders and we congratulate them on their exceptional service to the people of Western Australia.

The Centre for Cerebral Palsy
Lavan Legal has been associated with The Centre for Cerebral Palsy for over 40 years.  In 2008 Lavan Legal held the 'Big Night In', inviting clients to relax at home while watching an all time favourite - Love Actually.  As part of the 'Big Night In' Lavan Legal donated $5 to the Centre for every invitation that was sent to clients. 

Lavan Legal staff were involved in The Centre for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week 2008 Street Appeal, with staff participating in the street collection.

Our social club supports the Centre with casual dress days. Staff members make a gold coin donation which is then matched by Lavan Legal as a firm.  Lavan Legal's partner Ian Curlewis is a director of the Centre.

Lavan Legal Staff Social Club
Each year many charities benefit from the fundraising activities of the Lavan Legal Social Club.  Our Social Club organises or participates in activities such as casual dress days with all contributions raised on these days matched by the firm.

The Social Club is very proud of its sponsored World Vision child, Silvia Tolenta Ombem.  Silvia was born on 12 July 1994 and lives in Indonesia.  The Social Club has sponsored Silvia since 2001.
