Lavan Legal obtains approval for Perth’s first small bar licence

Lavan Legal obtained approval for the first small bar licence in the Perth CBD and the first small bar and restaurant combination.  The two facilities situated next to each other in the recently revamped Queen Street are premium dining and drinking venues.  Both are warm and intimate with very suave fit-outs and high-end products.

Lavan Legal wins in land mark case
Hadgkiss v Aldin [2007] FCA 2068 (2007)

Lavan Legal successfully represented the Australian Building and Construction Commissioner in proceedings in the Federal Court for the prosecution of 107 construction employees, on the Perth to Mandurah Railway Project, for breaching the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act by taking unlawful industrial action.  It was the first case of its kind with the building industry regulator taking action against the workers individually, rather than their union.
