Cerebral Palsy Week Breakfast
On Wednesday 3 August 2011, Lavan Legal hosted a Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week Breakfast with Cerebral Palsy Week star Val Rutter as the guest of honour. Former TV and radio broadcaster Geraldine Mellet as guest speaker encouraged people to support the campaign for a National Disability Insurance Scheme. At the breakfast, Lavan Legal received a Community Excellence Award for going the 'extra mile' for people with cerebral palsy.

UDIA EnviroDevelopment Technical Session
On Tuesday 19 July 2011 Lavan Legal hosted the first UDIA EnviroDevelopment Technical Session for 2011. The session took an in-depth look at the water element within the recently revised National EnviroDevelopment Technical Standards. Dr Martin Anda of ENV Australia gave an overview of innovative water conservation solutions in WA with relevance to EnviroDevelopment certified projects.
