Tony Chong is a partner in the Corporate Services Group.
Tony practises in the areas of tax, project finance, commercial transactions and corporate advisory. He spent six years as head of tax and group counsel for a major corporate group, as well as operating in private legal practice. Through this experience, Tony offers an exceptional level of legal, accounting and tax knowledge, combined with a sound understanding of corporate structures and commercial imperatives.
As group counsel to The Griffin Group, Tony’s role was diverse, encompassing legal, tax, finance, corporate advisory and management of large projects involving mergers, acquisitions and fundraising. Tony was heavily involved in ensuring the bankability of major projects and transactions so that they achieved business objectives and strategic plans.
