Gordon Babe is a restricted practitioner in the Intellectual Property and Technology Team within the Commercial Advice and Litigation Group.
Gordon commenced full time employment with Lavan Legal in February 2011, having been previously employed with the firm as a casual law clerk.
Gordon practices in the areas of intellectual property and commercial litigation and has assisted in litigation in the Supreme Court, District Court, Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court, and the State Administrative Tribunal. Such litigation has involved a wide variety of areas of law, including commercial contracts, mining disputes, probate, intellectual property and breaches of the Australian Consumer Law.
In addition to litigation, Gordon also prepares advice on intellectual property issues, particularly in regard to copyright and misleading and deceptive conduct.
