Admitted to practice in March 2005, Toby joined Lavan Legal in November 2009. Toby previously worked at Hotchkin Hanly as a senior associate practicing in commercial litigation.

Toby has acted as Counsel in the Supreme Court, District Court, Magistrates' Court, State Administrative Tribunal and Building Disputes Tribunal. He also has experience as Junior Counsel in the Court of Appeal and the High Court.

Toby's areas of expertise include contract, building and construction, safety & health (Worksafe prosecutions), wills and probate. His experience is now being extended to Criminal Property Confiscation Act work with Colin Chenu, having recently been involved in the Mansfield case.
