Wayne practices predominantly in intellectual property, insolvency, bankruptcy and general commercial and corporate litigation.

Wayne completed his articles with Lavan Legal where he benefited from wide-ranging experience in corporate and commercial, intellectual property, trade practices, general litigation, liquor, employment, tourism, insolvency and other areas.

Wayne completed his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with Honours at Murdoch University in 1998. Wayne's interest in biotechnology resulted in the dedication of his final year law school honours thesis to the exploration of the adequacy of legislation addressing the issues arising from the commercialisation of human research and the proliferation of the biotechnology industry. This has lead to Wayne's interest in developing the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Team.

Wayne completed his Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of Notre Dame in 2002 and was admitted as a solicitor in Western Australia in March 2004.
